The healthy way to lose weight is the best way, because once you make a change in your lifestyle it’s easy to get rid of the weight and keep it off. Make sure you have protein in your breakfast and your lunch. By consuming protein you reduce your carbohydrate cravings. Women should have about 60g of protein a day. This does not always mean meat. You can get protein from nuts and other sources. Lean meat of course is very good, but you can be creative to find other ways to get in your protein.
Do not skip meals. Research shows that people who regularly eat three meals a day, are more healthy than those who skip. When you skip the meal two things can happen. First, you will eventually be hungry, and you are more likely to binge or eat unhealthy fast foods. Secondly if you don’t give your body all the food it needs, it will start to shut down to conserve the nutrients that it has. This makes your metabolism slow down and makes it harder to lose weight.
Eating three meals plus two snacks is a healthy way to lose weight. People find the most success with eating three small meals in two snacks. These snacks can be a handful of nuts, a granola bar, some fruit, or some yogurt. Try to keep your snacks around 100 calories.
